Chang Shiyan is an associate professor, Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy, Tsinghua University. 

As a key contributor, she was involved in building the China Regional Energy-Emissions-Air Quality-Climate-Health Model (REACH) and China's Regional Energy System Model (C-RESM). 

She has participated in a number of researches supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.

Her main research areas are the green and low-carbon economy transformation pathways and policies. Recent research interests are negative emission technologies and regional transition pathways towards carbon neutrality.
